As we are based at the foothills of the Pyrénées, this allows the best of both worlds when it comes to cycling.  There are great endless rides through traffic free rolling countryside allowing the true experience of rural France . There are also many cycling events throughout the year, these mostly consist of Cyclosportive events.  These events are basically group rides taking in famous routes or climbs, the pace is set by the front runners but you can take it as easy as you want.  These events are always well organised  with many of the roads traffic free, many go past our door and they are well worth a try, just to have the French cycling experience with roads well marshalled by the Gendarmerie and epic finishes on mountain top ski stations.
